To celebrate the life of Gilbert Baker (1951 – 2017), the creator of the original LGBTQ pride flag, font foundry Fontself developed Gilbert, a rainbow-themed typeface with optional color styles baked in. Fontself then sponsored a video contest centered around the font in 2017, which called for video content that used Gilbert as a visual theme.

This submission, which is 95% stop-motion and 5% fix-it-in-post, won third place in the “motion” category.
