Slate: Scientific videos

The folks at Slate specified that they wanted a series of videos in a hand-drawn, humorous style to contrast the cold, hard, scientific facts being presented. They also needed each video FAST — a 3-day turnaround once the script was approved. I was tasked with sourcing reference images, creating/animating the vector art, recording the voiceover, and syncing the sound — in 72 hours. This required some, uh, creativity (borrowed mic + patchwork quilt over my head = sound booth).
